Some of these giant breeds are also known as mastiffs. These dogs include many of the large working breeds such as the Saint Bernard, Newfoundland, Great Pyrenees, Old English Sheepdog and Irish Wolfhound. The Great Dane is also considered a giant breed even though it is not technically a mastiff.

Mastiff
