Our beginner rides take place on our 10-acre site, which has a variety of flat and hilly terrain. The horses used on these rides are very friendly, so you can relax as we walk them around the paddock in preparation for your lesson. Once we’re ready to begin, we’ll don helmets and set off with our instructor so that they can teach you how to groom your horse before mounting up!

Once you feel comfortable with this activity, there are lots of different ways that you can progress further with us:

  • Intermediate ride: This session is usually held over two consecutive days during which time guests will learn basic skills such as trotting and jumping fences (we use fences made from wood). It takes place on our 20 acre site located near the river Thames with views across open farmland towards Windsor Castle.* Advanced ride: This program offers an opportunity to develop more advanced riding skills such as dressage (a type of competitive riding) along with jump cross country courses.* Please note that there may be an additional charge for these packages but please ask us about details when booking
