Best Battle Pets For Shadowlands

Introduction

Before you take a look at the pets below, I’d like to make an introducting announcement- Battlenet is having their free-to-play week from 26 th August till 2 nd September. If you have never played World of Warcraft or if you’ve never tried the latest expansion Mists of Pandaria, you’ll be able to play for free –which includes the ability to battle in player versus player and player versus environment modes. Suddenly, World of Warcraft seems more approachable and much more fun!  If you do want to start playing World of Warcraft but don’t know where to begin, just check out this series we put together of our favorite Battle Pets For Shadowlands .

The Shadowlands pet expansion is upon us! And although we don’t know everything about this new patch yet, we have a pretty good idea of the best battle pets to seek out. I’ve compiled a list of the pets that will give you an advantage in Pet PvP so you can come out on top every time.

Terrible Turnip

The Terrible Turnip is a rare spawn in Shadowlands, and it is a mountable pet. It can only be obtained as a reward for completing a certain quest. It also has seasonal availability and is considered to be common.

Unborn Val’kyr

The Unborn Val’kyr is one of the best pets you can use for Shadowlands. It does good damage, it has a lot of health and armor, it’s relatively cheap to buy and repair, and it absorbs more damage than any other pet in the game (and therefore survives longer). If you’re looking for a general-purpose pet that will perform well in both PVP and PVE content then this is your best bet.

Another big advantage the Unborn Val’kyr has over other pets is that it doesn’t have any abilities that require recharging. So even if you don’t cast anything on them for several minutes during a fight they’ll still be ready to go when you need them!

Lil’ Bling

Lil’ Bling is a new pet that can be found in the Shadowlands. You can only find him in the Ghostlands, and he’s a rare battle pet with high stats. If you’re looking to defeat Shadowlands bosses like Yeti or Cerberus without having to rely on another player to help you out, Lil’ Bling is the right choice for you!

Shimmershell Snail

Shimmershell Snail is the best pet for Shadowlands. It has a very high defense stat, and it’s also a rare pet.

Fishy

Fishy is a rare pet that can be found in Shadowmoon Valley. When you first encounter Fishy, it’ll look like just another fish swimming around the area. However, if you try to catch it and add it to your collection, the fish will instead transform into a shark and attack you (sharks are known for their aggressive tendencies). If that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, when Fishy has been defeated by adventurers who have caught him before they will discover yet another transformation: this time into a turtle!

While these transformations make Fishy unique among battle pets—and there aren’t many other turtles in Azeroth—Fishy also isn’t available as an item through purchase or in any egg drop locations.

Fel Piglet

The Fel Piglet is a pet from World of Warcraft’s Legion expansion. It is an exotic battle pet that can only be obtained through a World Quest, and though it will cost you some gold to get the quest started, it’s well worth it.

This little piggy is actually a fiery demon in disguise! But don’t worry—this cute little critter won’t hurt you… unless you’re a demon yourself! This little guy can provide some serious DPS while healing its master as well (and oh boy does he love to heal)!

Anubisath Idol

  • Anubisath Idol is a good pet to use in the shadowlands.
  • It’s a tank, which means it can absorb damage and protect your team while they do their jobs.
  • Tanks also tend to be slow, but that’s what makes them effective! They’re usually big and bulky too, meaning that they’ll be able to soak up more hits than other pets.
  • If you’re looking for something fast and agile but still want a tank-type pet for battlefields like Shadowlands, consider using an Anubisath Idol instead!

Dark Phoenix Hatchling

Shadowlands is the new PvP battleground, and you’re going to need a solid team of Battle Pets if you want to succeed. Dark Phoenix Hatchling is the best flying pet for any team and should be your first priority in Shadowlands.

As with all Rare-quality pets, it’s not easy to get your hands on one—you’ll have to defeat Arthas, who has been reborn as the Lich King in Icecrown Citadel (the final wing of Wrath of the Lich King). It’s a long quest chain that’s well worth it because once complete, this beautiful phoenix will be yours forever!

Ravenous Prideling

The Ravenous Prideling is one of the best battle pets for Shadowlands. It has great stats and a fantastic move speed, making it a very versatile pet that can be used in many situations. The Prideling also has good damage, hp, armor and health regeneration. The Prideling can be equipped with some useful skills such as Earthquake or Thunderstorm which help it deal more damage to enemies. There are other perks too such as increased critical strike chance so you should definitely consider getting one if you’re looking for something new!

Hozen Breezetamer

The Hozen Breezetamer is a rare pet. He can be found in the Jade Forest.

The Hozen Breezetamer is a Wind Serpent, which means he cannot cast spells or use abilities that require mana.

The Hozen Breezetamer is a Beast and Critter, which means he has no preferred class and can be used as either an Enhance Shaman or Enhancement Shaman when performing your daily dungeon runs.

The first ever pet expansion is coming soon and will be a blast to hunt down all the new pets.

The first ever pet expansion is coming soon and will be a blast to hunt down all the new pets. The pets will be available in the Shadowlands and in the Battle Pet section of the game.
